LG Electronics will be introducing the latest addition to its 2nd-generation Signature lineup: the new Washer-Dryer with Heat Pump.
To be revealed at IFA 2023 this September, the 2nd-gen laundry solution leverages LG’s advanced heat pump technology to deliver effective washing and drying and a hassle-free laundry experience.
The stylish 27-inch Washer-Dryer is space-efficient with its seamless and elegant design, and can handle up to a 25kg washing capacity and a 13kg drying capacity.
The appliance also integrates LG’s TWINWash feature, which is a small washer located below the main drum ideally used for delicates or light clothes.
As a one-stop laundry solution, the latest Washer-Dryer also offers an intuitive “single touch” control.
It has a 7-inch LCD display for easy control of features and settings.
Its AI-powered laundry and drying course detects fabric types and load size, as well as the presence of residual moisture, automatically applying the optimal settings for the best washing and drying results.
The drying process then begins as soon as the washing cycle has concluded for a reduced total operation time.
Speaking of drying, the machine utilizes LG’s own inverter heat pump drying module during its drying stage.
Users may also download the ThinQ app to fully enjoy using the advanced washer-dryer.

Ever wondered what a “net-zero” house would look like? LG Electronics will showcase the ideal sustainable home system to visitors at IFA 2023. It features the company’s Home Energy Platform solution.
The LG Home Energy Platform is a total solution for household energy management. It is comprised of the Energy Storage System (ESS) and the Therma V R290 monobloc air-to-water heat pump (AWHP).
The LG Therma V uses energy more efficiently than traditional heating and cooling systems. This produces high temperature water which can be created with existing old radiators.
Meanwhile, the Energy Storage System serves as a back-up power source in case of blackouts. surplus energy can be stored in the ESS battery and diverted to the AWHP’s integrated water tank during daytime.
Combining these technologies together achieves efficient heating and a user-friendly energy management.
The ESS utilizes the stored energy to provide hot water and power home appliances for self-sufficient energy. Should a power outage occur, the ESS can keep essential elements (heating, refrigeration, lighting) up and running.
At the IFA 2023, visitors will be able to check a chart that shows the Net-Zero House and how its system’s stored energy flows to all installed appliances.
The ESS is easy to integrate with LG’s other appliances, such us washers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and stylers.
The Home Energy Platform is also compatible with LG ThinQ Energy, an intuitive-to-use energy management solution that enables users to control all smart appliances, manage the HVAC system, and monitor energy storage and consumption from their smartphones.
